Babel Arts Network
Our network is called Babel Arts Network, an international community of artists and professionals working in the creative industry, involved mainly (but not only) in world music and jazz, working in Europe and beyond.
We start a program for developing an all-European communication startegy, and we are looking for up to 6 young potential future colleagues, having just finished their studies of media and communication, and speaking more languages (English as a basic must, plus as many languages as possible, like Spanish, Portuguse, German, French, Italian, Serbian, Hungarian, Dutch, Greek, Slovak, Czech,. Polish, Estonian, etc…).
We offer full time or part-time employment with a high potential for developing your skills and build up your international cereer.
Before starting your work in our team, we offer a professional training, an internship to adapt the knowledge you acquired at the university to our professional expectations, to the mission statement, the narrative and the communication strategy of our network.


Mission statement
The mission of the Network is to present and to represent the values of cultural diversity through arts. The Network should support artists from different countries and cultures in many ways:
- Support education of cultures and arts to all generations.
- Support the interactive meeting for various cultures and various branches of art.
- Support artists with real opportunities to get in touch with each other
- Support artists to build bridges: professional and cultural relationships.
- To encourages creative co-operation, play and personal encounter.
- To support artists to be true representatives of their countries and nationalities.
Their mission is to present and pass on their cultural heritage and deepen the mutual respect for each other through arts.
Babel Arts Network is focusing on the interaction of the Artists, and is welcoming those artists, whose main goal is not only to promote their own career, but to design a path where the support and the collaboration with the other fellow artists is the main target.
Babel community narrative
A community of artists and people with good will.
A community for happiness. But what is happiness?
Happiness is a decision. Not more, not less.
It is a state of mind, what everyone can decide about, what everyone can control.
It is freedom and acceptance at the same time.
The freedom to have an open mind and an open heart. The acceptance of yourself and your surroundings.
Good things and problems are everywhere, „shit happens” independently of your wealth, your culture, your social status, your age. Just help the others and the others will help you.
Babel people
- accept and respect all cultures, all religions, all origins, all traditions, all lifestyles, all views
- reject discrimination of any nature, reject hate and agressivity as a solutions to any problem,
- don’t differentiate on social status, economic background, educational level or age
- they are arts essential people engaging with culture, community-focused people full of enthusiasm with varied and eclectic cultural tastes.
- They are the „yes” people. And they support and help each-other.

What is Babel Arts Management?
- Babel Arts Management is not a management of one or another Band or Artist. It is not an Artist Management, it is managing ARTS – meaning artistic projects, collaborations, new creations, residencies, masterclasses, mentoring projects, etc.
- Babel Arts Management is an organisation which manages, supports and coordinates a network of Artists, who are at the same time supporting each-other.
- Babel Arts Management is not a booking angency, but helps the Babel Artists with bookings if they have already fixed invitations and dates for any tour, in any country.
- Babel Arts Management is not a promoter, but invites Babel Artists to present themselves and to perform at special Babel events:
- Babel Nights in major cities of Europe and beyond
- Babel Sound Festivals in different places around Europe and beyond
- Babel Roadshows
- in Babel Arts Cafés or Clubs
- Babel Arts Management is not a management in the terms of an exclusive management of an Artist, but acts (and should have the right to act) as a non-exclusive management or agency, representing the Artist towards 3rd parties.
- Babel Arts Management focuses mainly on world music and jazz, but does not exclude other live music styles.
Babel Arts Management is most importantly a supporter of Artists, a coordinator of a network of Artists and can be a producer for certain Artists.
Babel Arts management is organising creative residencies, cooperation and exchange projects, educational and mentoring programs in partnership with private cultural operators and governmental cultural organisations from all over the world.
Babel Arts Network is now represented by more than 20 organisations in 14 countries of Europe, with additional partners in Chile, Brasil, India, Morocco, USA, and is extending its partnerships every year to more countries.
Babel communication concept
Babel communication team is not working for communicating, promoting events, neither promoting artists.
We are promoting a community.
We are promoting a feeling, a lifestyle.
We are promoting happiness, open mind, open heart and acceptance.
And we are sharing our values.
Artsist are messangers, the community is our essence.
We are inviting people to experience and join the Babel community.
Events are meeting places and moments for the community.
But values can be shared without events as well. Community can grow without regular meetings as well. Babel community is worldwide, that is one major value of it. Babel people live all around our globe. We build a virtual club for Babel people.
We are not communicating „come and see this show, see this artists”.
We are communicating „meet the world, wherever you are”. In your home city or on travel, feel free
and feel safe, because you have friends everywhere.
The teamwork
The teamwork follows the same way: help the others and the others will help you.
You are not alone. You get support and you have to support the others as well. Babel Communication is based on the community. For promoting a community , the community itself has to do it.
We have a coordination and technical team, we have a small team for community management, we have guidelines, technics, narrative and mission statement, we have communication tools and we have content, we have stories to tell, we have questions to ask. But we are all together the communication team.
We need to brainstrom together, share our ideas, and work with a well defined strategy, but not as robots. Communication is as much creative as arts are. The communication team is like a band. Team meetings are like rehearsals, a communication campaign is like a concert. You play what you
rehearsed. But improvisation is allowed. We have a core band, but let’s be a Big Band!

Communication managers training
Our training program is including some”must” elements, and some optional, or future parts. This training is necessary for getting a precise knowledge about our communication strategy and experience, get to know our identity, meet our community and build up a teamwork.
The communication strategy is based on a team living in different countries and cities of Europe, who will have to work together with each-other and with many other collegues and partners. During the training program applicants will travel around Europe and have meetings, seminars, assist to presentations and do internship practical works as well as some community work („volunteering”).
The training starts around 15th of March 2025 and lasts until 31st of October 2025.
After the training you can start your active work in the Babel Communication Team as part-timer or with full time employment, it is also possible to continue university studies or PHD while already doing some parts of the team-work.
It is possible to stay, live, work in any country of Europe (so the future work is not depending on your geographical location).
It is possible to incede, to achieve professional advancement, to become leader, coordinator or regional manager, etc…

All together we estimate that the training period is approximately 8 month.
Details of the training program
1.) A 7-8 days formation and training, getting basic informations. Team building and basic knowledge training at Babel Camp, Balatonboglár, Hungary.
- Presentation about Babel community and Babel Arts Management (past, present and future identity, mission statement, philosophy, narrative, Babel artists community, target audience, Babel events, Babel Jazz and Babel Sound Club Europe virtual platforms, etc)
- Presentation about Babel Network (Babel headquarters and partners, communication partners, associate business partners, artist residency locations and residency programs, partner clubs and venues, partner festivals)
- Presentation about past, present and future European and multicultural cooperation projects
- Presentation about communication material and it’s production, IT background (content management and storage), contact management
- Presentations about communication concepts and strategies by:

2.) Fieldwork and internship
- Attending different artist residencies and creative meetings, festivals, like Babel Sound festival, Alkantara festival, Amersfoort World Jazz Festival, JMI Ethno camps, and a lot more
- Attending different concerts of the most important Babel Artists, anywhere in Europe, where these happens.
- Meeting with some of the most important Babel Arts Platform (Network) partners in 14 countires of Europe (usually we try to link these meetings with events, concerts, festivals, artist residencies or conferences happening in the countries of the partners)
- Meetings and some trainings with other PR agencies and professionals to be discussed with our partners.
- Attending international showcase festivals, conferences and other professional meetings – networking.
During these residencies they will assist to the programs and some presentations, workshops and seminars, while enjoying the programs. Applicants will participate in daily communication work assisting the leaders of the communication team and content production team, and dp community works as well (working a few hours at the bar, cooking with the artists for example).
The training program ends with a participation at WOMEX Worldwide Music Expo, in Tampere / Finland from 22 to 26 Octover 2025. After Womex Babel Arts Network Communication team will have a training session closing common meeting either in Tampere or at Babel Camp in Hungary from 27th to 31st of October.

If you apply and you are selected, you will have to sign a detailed agreement with Babel Arts Network, which includes, that:
Conditions
- you have to participate in the training program and fulfill all the training steps. During the training period, all your costs will be covered by Babel Arts Network (including travel, accomodation and food), but you will not get any payment or salary.
- you will have to sign a commitment agreement that you will work as part-time or full-time employee (to be decided before starting the training) at Babel Network for a minimum of 3 years, if Babel Network offers you this opportunity after the training period. Conditions have to be agreed before starting the training.
- Babel Network is NOT OBLIGED to offer you this employment, if not satisfied with your work, result or participation during the training.
- You acknowledge, that the cost of your training is 5000 euro, what you don’t have to pay, if you fulfill it, independently if Babel Networks invites you to work with the team or not.
- But if you don’t fulfill the complete training and you leave it in the middle, you will have to reimburse 625 euro / months that you participated to the training program
